If you have never heard of the Galaxy Alpha well don't worry, I will bring you up to speed. The Galaxy Alpha is a somewhat mid to high end device sporting a 4.7 inch 1280 x 720 resolution display. The device packs a 2.5Ghz quad-core CPU and 2 gigs of RAM. A 12 megapixel camera is located at the rear and 32 gigs of storage is the only option (no expandable memory). Everything is wrapped in a premium metal frame that some say makes for the most beautiful Samsung phone around.
On Monday, AT&T announced that it will be selling this very device on Sept. 26 for $199 with a two year contract. The device will run you $25.55 extra a month on AT&T's Next 18 program, and $30.65 extra a month on the Next 12 program. Want the device off contract? Well, AT&T is selling it for a cool $612.99. Color options include white, black and gold (pictured). This phone is exclusive to AT&T so don't hold your breath for Sprint, Verizon or T-Mobile to announce anything anytime soon.
