  • Not tech: Police Chief Thomas Jackson says the cop did not know Michael Brown was a "suspect"

In a press conference on Friday, Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson admitted that Darren Wilson (the officer who killed Brown) did not stop Michael Brown because of the events that happened at convenient store.

So when asked why the video was released at the time of the naming of the officer, Jackson responded that it was released because the media wanted it released (these are not his exact words).
He goes on to reveal that Michael Brown was stopped because he was jaywalking. In other words, Jackson has just confirmed that this two incidents are not related.
