  • MacBook Pro with Retina Display are now faster and have more memory.



    It was rumored on Monday that Apple would update its MacBook Pro with Retina Display lineup and Apple has done just that. These changes include faster processors and more RAM. There are also a few price cuts as well.

    The 13-inch model is now standard with a 2.6Ghz Core i5 chip and 8 gigs of RAM. The 15-inch model. The entry level 15-inch model now comes standard with a 2.2Ghz quad-core Core i7 processor and 16 gigs of RAM. Compared to last years model, the 13-inch came standard with a 2.4Ghz processor and 4 gigs or RAM, while the 15-inch came with a 2.0Ghz processor and 8 gigs or RAM.

    The MacBook Pro with Retina Display that has discrete graphics has dropped from $2,599 (US) to $2,499. The regular MacBook Pro that does Not have a Retina Display also saw a price cut from $1,199 to $1,099.
