The hacker group Lizzard Squad, shut down the PlayStation Network on Sunday. The PlayStation blog claims that no information was stolen during the hijacking. Sony was not the only company hit. Lizzard Squad also attacked: Blizzard, Riot Games and Grinding Gear.
The hacking community was also able to divert, Sony Computer Entertainment president, John Smedley's, flight to San Diego. Lizzard Squad reportedly sent messages to American Airlines stating that explosives were on board. In the end, Smedley was able to reach his original destination in Pheonix AZ.
Users are waking up this morning with info that PSN is back online and ready for use. What else will come from this attack is unknown but stay tuned to TechNation for more.
