It was announced last year that FXX would be the first TV channel (in the US) to gain access to past episodes of The Simpsons for syndication, but at it's Television Critics Awards, on Monday, Fox announced that not only will FXX marathon the entire series of The Simpsons but every episode will be available for streaming at Simpson World which launches this fall.
Beginning Aug. 21 and ending Sept. 1, every episode of the long running TV series will air on FXX 24 hours a day non stop. That's 552 episodes spanning across 25 seasons. FXX will also play the movie too.
Beginning in October, FXX will launch Simpsons World with access on computers at simpsonsworld.com, mobile apps via FXNow and on TV sets and consoles also via the FXNow app. In order to watch episodes of The Simpsons on the new website and FXNow app, you have to log in with a valid TV provider. Simpsons World is also the named used for the Simpsons' section at Universal Studios.
