The day has finally come that Mazda has taken the covers off its brand new redesign of the MX-5. The 2015 MX-5 will hit showrooms sometime in 2015 and offers "pure driving fun that only a lightweight sports car can." Mazda's KODO (Soul of Motion) design language is very apparent in this redesign.
At the moment, I do not have any more information regarding the engine, transmission and all the other good stuff us car enthusiast want, but SKYACTIV technology is on board. While many other cars are becoming bulkier and heavier, the new MX-5 is 100 kilograms lighter than its predecessor, and is "the most compact of any generation MX-5 so far."
When more information comes across my desk I will update the site. For now though, enjoy these stunning images of Mazda's redesign of the MX-5.
