A new UX design is coming with the Galaxy Note 4. Among the changes is a brand new transparent widget design that allows users to see their background behind their widgets.
A new Quad HD 5.7inch AMOLED display is on board, and Samsung says that its AMOLED display is better than other smartphones Quad HD display because of it's AMOLED technology. The display allows for sharper more vibrant contrasty colors, we all come to expect from AMOLED displays, that you either like or don't like.
Samsung displayed a new split screen multitasking that completely splits the screen from top to bottom and allows users to pull up small windows of other features. This feature is shown in the picture above.
Smart Select is a new S Pen feature coming with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Just simply activate Smart Select and you can outline images of by dragging and highlighting an image. A small window will open on the screen allowing you to quickly access all the images you selected. Just paste the images into a text message or email and you can send everything out at once.
The new S Pen can also be used as a mouse that can select text and select multiple images in your gallery. You can select text from multiple paragraphs just like dragging and clicking while holding down the control key on windows.
The new cameras are also updated to compete with the best on the market. The rear camera is 16 megapixels and the front camera is 60% brighter to help with those selfies. The heart rate sensor on the back can be used to capture images from the front camera. The front camera has been widen to 90 degrees and can take panoramic photos to help get everybody in the photo. The new panoramic feature was demonstrated on stage by taking a "wefie" with the crowd. The front facing camera is 3.7mp with a f1.9 aperture.
Fast charging will allow the Galaxy Note 4 to charge to 50% with only 30 minutes of charging.
Three new mics in the Note 4 allow users to record up to 8 directions of audio in meeting mode. You can then play back the audio from each individual direction. Interview mode will record form two directions allowing for easy interviewing. Noise cancellation will also keep out unwanted noise.
