At its Gamescom press event earlier today, Sony has announced plans to bring Share Play to the PS4 via the 2.00 update. Share Play is a feature exclusive to those with PlayStation Plus, and it allows users to share games with others who do not have said game. Both users have to have PS Plus in order for the sharing to commence.
This feature, along with YouTube uploads, is coming to the PS4 in the 2.00 update that will be available this fall. The update will also feature access to "recently played broadcasts" and the ability to instantly access your friends. The update will also allow users to search by others real names. More about the update will be released in a couple of weeks so stay tuned.
