More details about the HTC One for Windows are released

WPCentral was able to obtain some rather interesting information about the new HTC One for Windows that they say is completely true. If their details are correct, and I am sure they are, then this new Windows Phone 8.1 device looks to be an exact replica of the HTC One (M8). Details after the jump.

Here is a list of the details that they were able to confirm.

• A 2.3Ghz quad-core, Snapdragon 801 processor
• 2 gigs of RAM
• 5-inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display with Gorilla Glass 3 and 441 ppi
• 32 gigs of internal storage; micro SD with support for 128 GB cards)
• HTC 4 UltraPixel camera with 5 MP front-facing camera.
• 2600 mAh battery
• Nano SIM
• U-Focus
• HTC Boomsound
• Supports HTC Dot View case
• Comes pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1.

The device will be announced on Aug. 19 in front of a sea of journalists in New York City. More details to come.
