  • An Indiegogo project has launched to help Evan Blass fund his medical bills.

Not sure who Evan Blass is? Well if you have followed any tech website in the past two years then I am sure Evan Blass, aka Evleaks, has lead to the creation of an article about a leaked smartphone. Blass has been diagnosed with multiple scalerosis, a decade ago I might add, and is calling it quits from the leaking business due to rising medical bills.

Blass was an editor and who worked his way up to senior editor at Engadget before moving over to Pocketnow where he became a managing editor. In 2012, Blass decided to make his leaking business a full-time job. He is better known as @evleaks. A twitter handle that has become famous for its extremely accurate leaks of smartphones and other devices.

An Indiegogo campaign has been launched by TK TechNews and looks to help raise $100,000 to help fund Blass' medical bills. The twitter handle, @evleaks, will officially be used by Blass as a personal account with the website still up in question.

Evan Blass has helped to create several articles for my website. I often hesitated to write articles about leaks unless they came from Blass. I wish Evan the best of luck for the future.
