  • Teased: The Blackberry Passport.

During a conference call held on Thursday, Blackberry's CEO John Chen took some time to talk about a new device coming in 2015. The Passport is step in a different direction, design wise, for Blackberry and any other smartphone manufacturer. With its square design, Blackberry is hoping to continue to turn the company around with this device.
Engadget reports that the Passport will come equipped with a 4.5inch 1,440 x 1,440 resolution screen, which works out to have a pixel density of 452 pixels per inch. The Blackberry style keyboard is still present though it takes on a different shape. Reports are claiming that users will be able to write out gestures on the keyboard also.

The Passport is expected to be announced at special press event held in London sometime in September. Stay tuned to Tech Nation for more.
