The rumors were true, Apple has finally unveiled a new lower cost iMac but the new cost comes at a price. The 21inch iMac comes equipped with the same low-voltage 1.4Ghz Core i5 processor find in the Macbook Air. The processor has Intel's Turbo Boost function up to 2.7Ghz. The new iMac comes with a 500GB hard drive but can be upgraded to Apple's SSD, 1TB hard drive, or Apple's fusion drive. 8GB of RAM are on board as well as Intel's HD 5000 graphics.
This new lower cost iMac is available now through the Apple online store.
