Microsoft is making it easier for Students, who attend qualifying universities, to receive Office 365 for free. Students can check their availability by signing up with their school email address. If your college or university has a campus wide Volume License then you will be prompted to sign in with your school password and will be redirected to a page with an "install now" link.
This free download can be downloaded onto five PCs or Macs and will grant you access to Office apps on Windows tablets and iPad. Signing up also grants you 1TB of OneDrive storage and access to Office Online. Students can download Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. A similar program for faculty will be made available in October which gives faculty access to Office 365 ProPlus.
