Here is Nintendo's New 3DS

At its Nintendo Direct event in Japan on Friday, Nintendo unveiled a brand new 3DS coming to the Japanese market in October. The updated model feautres a better stereoscopic 3D technology, a more powerful CPU, a new analog "nub" and new (or should I say old) color scheme for the A, X, B and Y buttons.

The device will also feature support for NFC for Nintendo's upcoming Amiibo figures. The device will come in two flavors, a smaller 3DS version and a larger 3DS LL model. I should note that the official naming for the devices are New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS LL.

Both models will be available on Oct. 11 in Japan with no official release date scheduled for the US for this year. Check out the video below from YouTube user bdcool213 and hit the source for more photos.
