  • EA Access coming to Xbox One, Play EA games for $4.99 a month (Update)

Just like the title says, EA Access will allow Xbox One users access to certain EA games for only $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Access is currently in beta, for certain users, and includes FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4. This is a small list of games currently but, as always, more are on the way.

EA Access also comes with something  EA is calling Play First. Those who sign up for Access get access (pun intended)to trials of new EA titles up to five days before release. Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15 and NHL 15 are just a few of the titles users can choose from.

EA says that there is no cap on how often or long someone can play an EA Access title located in the vault. Subscriptions can be bought through Xbox Live with in store subscriptions coming to GameStop in the near future. Amazon will also have stock of subscriptions as well as EB Games in Canada.

Update: EA has also announced that a Gold membership to Xbox Live is not required to access the service unless you want to play multiplayer.
