  • Microsoft announces 45 new apps coming to Xbox Systems. (w/video)

Just days before its press event at E3, Microsoft is steadily announcing news about Xbox. Today Microsoft has announced that 45 new apps are coming for Xbox systems by the end of the holiday season. I should note, that this is 45 new apps between both Xbox One and 360 in a variety of countries.

Some apps for Xbox One include (US market): Vine, HBO Go, iHeartRadio and many more.  For 360, users can expect (US market): FXNOW, ShowTime Anytime and WATCH ABC, Disney Channel,  Disney Junior and Disney XD.

Twitter will also be released for Xbox One and allows for integration between One's TV functionality in the US. Users will be able to see what others on Twitter are saying about the programs they are watching, and, via OneGuide, users will be able to see what shows people are talking about the most.

For a full list of all the apps coming to both Xbox systems and countries they will be available in, head to Xbox Wire, and watch Major Nelson himself bellow explaining more about Twitter integration.
