A report over at Edmunds claims that Hyundai will release a Nissan Juke rival sometime in 2017. The car will be smaller than a Tucson and will have "edgy, dynamic styling" in hopes to take on the Juke in capturing a younger generation of car shoppers.
Hyundai Motor America CEO, Dave Zuchowski, told Edmunds that the tiny crossover is not to be thought of as a small Tucson but "but think of maybe something that looks like a Juke or something that has edgy dynamic styling."
Hyundai has already revamped two cars in its lineup for this year, the Sonata and Genesis, and will revamp two more next year, the Tucson and Elantra. With rumors of a 3-Series fighter on the way, the next couple of years are looking bright for Hyundai.
