Announced: Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, Russia to receive phone in July.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is official folks. On Tuesday, Samsung released all the juicy details about this mid-range device. A 4.5inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720x1280 is on board the device.

The S5 Mini also packs an 8 MP camera on the rear and 2.1MP camera on the front. A quad core 1.4Ghz processor is on board and 1.5GB of RAM is at the heart of the phone. Everything is powered by a 2,100mAh battery and Android Kit Kat (4.4). Only a 16GB version was announced but the phone does sport a microSD card slot with support for 64GB.

The phone will ship with LTE category 4 with support for 150Mbs download speeds and 50Mbs upload speeds. Russia will be the first to receive the device in early July with other countries to follow. The S5 mini will come in four different flavors: Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
