  • Mac OS X Yosemite is able to video capture from iOS devices.

The buffs over at 9to5Mac have uncovered a feature that further brings together iOS and Mac OS X. Users are able to easily capture what is on their iPhone or iPad screen and record it to their Mac. The feature was uncovered through the developers preview of Yosemite.

Once a compatible device is plugged in it will show up as a camer input, thus giving the user the opportunity to video caputre from the device's screen. As of now the feature is reportedly buggy and laggy but Apple has plenty of time before the official launch this fall. If you want to try out features like this and more, sign up for the Apple Beta Program here.
