Pre-order your copy of Destiny today and receive access to the private beta beginning in July. According to the Destiny beta page, the beta will be available for Playstation systems on the 17th and "soon after" for Xbox systems users. Today, Major Nelson has confirmed that "soon after" still means a July timeframe.

While he did not confirm an actual day, we at least know it will in fact be soon after the Playstation release. Destiny will be released on September 9 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4. To pre-order your copy visit the official Destiny page and choose from either Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, or Walmart as your store of choice.
